CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Min rtes of April 22, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 14 <br />attended the meetings both to give information and opinions, and to be provided with answers <br />and solutions to their questions and problems. <br />No one else came forward. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 13 -1388 on first reading, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />No items were scheduled for consideration on this agenda. <br />No items were scheduled for consideration on this agenda. <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No suggestions were made for future agenda items. <br />B. Municipal Advisoa Committee (Metroplan) Report - Mayor Glancy <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report — Mayor G1ane <br />Commissioner Hufford advised she had attended the meeting in Mayor Glancy's absence and had enjoyed it; <br />however, there had been nothing in the program that was specifically pertinent to the City of Casselberly. <br />D. Mayors /Managers Group Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Reported that Shelly Lauten of myregion.org had given a presentation on the Open for Business initiative. She <br />stated that this was an organization which had been around for some time, and there were 86 cities in the <br />region it represented, and currently 31 of the 86 cities were participating. Mr. Newlon explained that they were <br />advocating for standards in policies that promote improved customer service, and streamlining the building <br />
