The City Manager will assemble and prepare a draft agenda from the issues submitted, <br />and forward the draft agenda to the Mayor prior to the end of the work day on the <br />Tuesday immediately preceding a meeting. The Mayor will then review the agenda to <br />ensure items previously requested publicly by the City Commission are included. <br />2. The final agenda will then be prepared, available, and posted in accordance with State <br />Statutes by the City Clerk. Any additions to the agenda after posting shall be presented <br />to the City Commission for review and appFeval as far in advance of the meeting as <br />possible. Such items shall be primarily limited to subjects which are time - sensitive in <br />nature which cannot be postponed to the next regular City Commission meeting. <br />3. Clerical errors (such as misspelled words, incorrect account numbers, etc.) which are <br />minor in nature and easily corrected by staff should be presented to the City Clerk, or <br />the City Manager in advance of the meeting time so as to be corrected prior to the <br />meeting. A correction memo (or pages) will be prepared and distributed to the <br />Commission prior to the time of the meeting for their consideration. <br />COMMISSION MEETINGS <br />1. Regular meetings of the City Commission shall commence at 4:00 p.m. unless an <br />alternative time has been designated by Public Notice. <br />2. Special meetings and Workshops of the City Commission shall commence at the <br />specific time designated by the Public Notice. <br />3. The parliamentary procedures adopted via Resolution 13 -2496 (or as amended and <br />supplemented afterward) shall be utilized at all City Commission meetings. <br />4. Decorum. <br />Public meetings are held to conduct City business in the view of the public. The <br />public's right to be present at the public meeting does not give the public the right <br />to interfere with the decision making process, disrupt the meeting, or to act as more <br />than spectators. Public input and participation is encouraged during the Citizens' <br />Comments portion of the agenda. <br />
