RESOLUTION 13 -2497 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING & AGENDA POLICIES; REPEALING RESOLUTION 09- 2102; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 4.17 of the Casselberry City Charter provides that the City Commission shall determine its own rules and order of business; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to amend and update the City Commission Meeting & Agenda Policies previously adopted in 2009 by Resolution 09 -2102 to reflect changes in agenda preparation methods, to reflect the new start time of 4:00 p.m. of regular meetings, and other matters. WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to repeal Resolution 09 -2102 for clarity's sake. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida hereby adopts the City Commission Meeting & Agenda Policies attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION II. Conflicts. That Resolution 09 -2102 is hereby repealed in its entirety, and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED this day of , 2013. 1. ATTEST: Donna G.
