CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of May 13, 2013 — Regular Meeting Page 3 of 18 I 020"M City Manager Randy Newlon explained that Consent Item E related to an Agreement with Seminole County wherein the County provided funds for children to attend the City's Summer Camp. He explained that the Agreement had been found to have some incorrect dates and a corrected Agreement had been furnished, He noted that the correction to the dates was the only change to the Agreement. A. Special Invoice Report Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in excess of 5% of the total project. The following item has been reviewed by the affected departments and is being presented for approval: Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. ® City Attorney Services for April 2013 Invoice #56238 $19,081.81 Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney invoice are available in FY 2013 Budget Account No. 001 -0140- 514.31-01. Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report, as submitted. B. Resolution 13 -2485 — Supporting Initiatives of Students Working Against Tobacco by Urging Tobacco Retailers to Stop the Sale and Marketing of Youth - Oriented Tobacco Products "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING THE EFFORTS OF THE TOBACCO -FREE YOUTH SUPPORT GROUP, STUDENTS WORING AGAINST TOBACCO (REFERRED TO AS `SWAT'), BY URGING TOBACCO RETAILERS TO STOP THE SALE AND MARKETING OF YOUTH - ORIENTED TOBACCO PRODUCTS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 13 -2486 supports the initiatives of the organization, Students Working Against Tobacco, by urging all local retailers who sell tobacco products where youth have access to their store or products to cease the sale and marketing of all tobacco products that use youth - oriented colorful and stylish packaging and flavors in order to reduce the exposure to and use of tobacco products by Seminole County and other Florida youth. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Resolution 13 -2485.
