W. Mi. -1, <br />Was <br />M (6)To direct the maintenance and repair of all City property, buildings, <br />furnishings and equipment. <br />(b) Duties. The City Manager shall be responsible to the City Commission for the proper <br />direction, supervision and administration of all duties connected with City government, <br />and to that end shall have the following specific duties: <br />(1) To investigate, evaluate and supervise existing and proposed organizational and <br />administrative procedures of all City departments. <br />(2) To direct, supervise and implement new organizational and administrative <br />procedures. <br />(3) To direct, supervise and administer the implementation of new procedures. <br />(4) To direct, supervise and administer all City departments in policy, budgetary <br />and administrative matters. <br />(5) To direct, supervise and assist all departments in accomplishment of City <br />functions. <br />(6) To prepare factual reports with specific recommendations based on statistical <br />studies and surveys. <br />(7) To conduct special program studies and direct and supervise the establishment <br />and implementation of all current policies adopted by the Commission. <br />(8) To handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence as assigned by the <br />Commission. <br />(9) To supervise and direct agenda preparation, and to provide the Mayor the <br />opportunity to review said agenda to ensure items previously requested publicly by <br />the City Commission are included. <br />
