SECTION 3. That Section 2 -106, "Powers and duties" of Article I1I, Chapter 2 of <br />the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances is amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 2 -106. - Powers and duties. <br />(a) Potivers. The City Manager shall be responsible to the City Commission for the <br />proper administration of all affairs of the City, and to that end shall have <br />the Ong powers as provided in the Charter Sec. 5.04, and the <br />following additional powers and duties: <br />(1) To act as conservator of the peace under the direction of the City Commission, <br />to see that all laws and ordinances of the City are duly enforced, and to sue in the <br />proper federal, state and county courts to ensure enforcement of all laws and <br />ordinances of the City. <br />2 ( To appoint officers not provided for by election. ----al of th-e <br />W(4) To supervise and direct the affairs of the City directly under his or her <br />supervision, including all departments and divisions of City government, all <br />contractual obligations of the City, and fulfillment of the performance of all City <br />obligations under contract, the Charter, ordinances and other applicable law.
