Cruz <br />Page 3 <br />February 24, 2011 <br />Contractor: The individual, firm, or company contracting with the City for <br />performance of work or furnishing of materials. <br />Contract: The written Agreement between the City and the Contractor setting forth the <br />obligations of the parties thereto, including but not limited to the performance of the <br />work, furnishing of labor and materials, and the basis of payment. <br />4.0 ITEMS TO BE FURNISHED BY THE CITY TO CONSULTANT: <br />The City on an as needed basis will furnish the following items. The Consultant shall <br />submit a request in writing for items needed to the City Construction Engineer. <br />® Contract documents for each project as follows: <br />Construction Plans <br />Special Provisions, General Conditions, Technical Specifications <br />Copy of Executed Contract <br />® The City may provide office space for the CE &I staff located at the Public <br />Works Office for purposes of retaining files and periodic use for preparing <br />reports, documenting project progress and similar administrative functions. <br />The Consultant will be copied with and shall comply with all City policies <br />related to occupancy of the office facilities. <br />® A list of all City standard forms for use under the terms of this Agreement will <br />be provided in hard copy. All pertinent FDOT directives, procedures, and <br />Standard Forms shall be accessed through the Department's Internet website. <br />5.0 ITEMS FURNISHED BY THE CONSULTANT: <br />5.1 City Documents: <br />All applicable City documents and any relevant Department documents shall be a <br />condition of this Agreement. <br />5.2 Vehicles <br />Vehicles will be equipped with appropriate safety equipment and can effectively carry <br />out their responsibilities under this agreement. Vehicles shall have the name and <br />phone number of the consulting firm visibly displayed. <br />5.3 Field Equipment: <br />The Consultant shall supply survey, inspection and testing equipment, essential in <br />order to carry out the work under this Agreement, and other items as determined by the <br />Construction Project Manager.
