RESOLUTION 11 -2238 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL AND APPROVING A COOPERATIVE PURCHASE FROM MUSCO LIGHTING FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF BALLFIELD LIGHTS AT WIRZ PARK; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the ballfield lights at Wirz Park are in need of replacement after approximately 30 years in operation; and WHEREAS, Musco Lighting was the vendor of record for installation of the ballfield lights at Secret Lake Park; and WHEREAS, Musco Lighting has proposed to install new ballfield lights on the main ballfield at Wirz Park; and WHEREAS, Musco Lighting will honor pricing for the new ballfield lights at Wirz Park as a Cooperative Purchase through a contract with Clay County, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City desires to replace the ballfield lighting system at Wirz Park and accepts the proposal from Musco Lighting in the amount of $142,932.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby accepts the proposal (attached as Exhibit A) and approves the cooperative purchase from Musco Lighting for the ballfield lighting system for Wirz Park in the amount of $142,932.00 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City SECTION H. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or pant of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
