ORDINANCE 10 -1343 <br />WHEREAS, parking business related vehicles in residential districts detracts from the <br />residential character of the City's neighborhoods; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission understands that residents using business related <br />vehicles which may include attachments and accessories are sometimes necessary for the <br />economic well -being of residents or to ensure quicker response to emergency situations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission recognizes that business related vehicles, when parked <br />in a residential district, should be parked to protect the appearance of, and protect the value of, the <br />residential districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 10 -1314 that provides for an eight <br />foot high fence to screen both business related vehicles and recreational equipment, that <br />eliminates the thirty five foot maximum length of recreational equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, these requirements become effective on February 1, 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has subsequently determined that an eight foot high <br />fence is required for business related vehicles but fences for recreational equipment may be <br />between six and eight feet in height; and <br />
