3) All landscape irrigation shall be limited in amount to only that necessary to <br />meet landscape needs. <br />(4) Subject to the exceptions listed in Section 86 -335 below, it is prohibited and <br />unlawful to irrigate landscaping inconsistent with the provisions of this Section. <br />Sec. 86 -335. Exceptions to landscape irrigation schedule,, <br />(1) Landscape irrigation shall be subject to the following irrigation schedule <br />exceptions: <br />(a) Irrigation using a miere irfig4i micro - spray. micro -jet, drip or <br />bubbler irrigation system is allowed at anytime. <br />(b) Irrigation of new landscape is allowed at any time of day on any day <br />for the initial 30 days and every other day for the next 30 days for a total of one <br />60 -day period, provided that the irrigation is limited to the minimum amount <br />necessary for such landscape establishment. <br />(c) Watering in of chemicals, including insecticides, pesticides, <br />fertilizers, fungicides, and herbicides, when required by law, the manufacturer or <br />best management practices, is allowed at anytime within 24 hours of application. <br />Watering in of chemicals shall not exceed 'A inch of water per application except <br />as otherwise required by law, the manufacturer, or best management practices. <br />(d) Irrigation systems may be operated anytime on any day for <br />maintenance and repair purposes not to exceed twenty te* minutes per hour per <br />zone. <br />(e) Irrigation using a hand -held hose equipped with an automatic shut -off <br />nozzle is allowed at anytime. <br />(f) Discharge of water from a water -to -air air conditioning unit or other <br />water dependent cooling system is not limited. <br />(g) The City's Fef reclaimed water customers of the City, * may use of <br />reclaimed water ftem a Feelaimed watef sy for landscape irrigation is allowed <br />only in accordance with the landscape :,..,:g4ie„ sehedi'° reclaimed water service <br />procedures provided in Section 86 -278 and the exceptions theme in Section 86- <br />335 or as determined by the City's Public Works Director in accordance with <br />Section 86 -336 f '^ ed w ate „h of st of the Cit- <br />. � ;,r u�er� ;.� sec. , <br />t,, f , � � eel °,a ate system allowed „4:,,, For the <br />the uvv° v , <br />purpose of this paragraph, a reclaimed water system includes systems in which <br />4 <br />
