WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry received from the Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs an "Objections, Recommendations, and Comments Report" on July 27, 2011, reflecting <br />the Department's review of the proposed amendments; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry City Commission held a second public hearing after <br />due public notice on August 22, 2011, at which it reviewed the written comments submitted by the <br />Department of Community Affairs in the Objections, Recommendations, and Comments Report; <br />reviewed all other written and oral comments submitted by members of the public, other local <br />governments and reviewing agencies; and reviewed the recommendations of the City of <br />Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry prepared a Mobility Study, and it is the intent of the <br />City to incorporate this Study into the Comprehensive Plan Supporting Document; and <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan amendments adopted by this Ordinance comply <br />with the requirements of the Community Planning Act and the amendments are in the best <br />interest of the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the Casselberry, Florida, and <br />serves a legitimate government interest. <br />._ c 6-� • <br />SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, and incorporated herein. <br />SECTION 2. Authority. This Ordinance is adopted in compliance with, and pursuant to, <br />the Community Planning Act, Section 163.3184 and 163.3187, Florida Statutes. <br />SECTION 3. Those portions of the Traffic Circulation Element are amended to add <br />Objective TCE 4: Centers and Corridors Land Use and Mobility Coordination and policies TCE <br />4.1 through 4.7.
