Mr. Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part <br />of the minutes). <br />Mr. Sorensen said upon review of the conditional use request, the Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />approval of CU 11 -13 to allow the on -site consumption of alcoholic beverages as allowed by the 4COP state license, <br />in conjunction with the operation of a bar /lounge located at 1239 South US Highway 17 -92, would be based on the <br />findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated September 14, 2011, and the following conditions: <br />1. The conditional use shall be limited to the location of 1239 South US Highway 17 -92. <br />2. The conditional use shall be confined to approximately 1,700 square feet. <br />3. This conditional use requires the closing of the current G's Lounge located at 1015 South US Highway <br />17 -92 prior to opening the new G's Lounge location at 1239 South US Highway 17 -92. <br />4. All sales and consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be on -site and indoors. <br />5. Package sales of alcoholic beverages for off -site consumption are prohibited. <br />6. The hours of alcohol sales shall comply with the hours set forth in Section 10 -2 of the City of <br />Casselberry code. <br />7. The business shall remain in complete compliance with all City, County and State requirements. <br />8. There shall be no outside display or storage of goods, materials, services or vehicles. <br />9. The conditional use shall commence within 90 days of the approval. <br />10. The conditional use shall expire if the use is discontinued for more than 90 days, <br />11. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed or the conditional use shall become null <br />and void. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Ken Guthrie, 1015 S. US Highway 17 -92, <br />Casselberry, Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Guthrie stated there would be no <br />outdoor seating or tables. He said he would be placing some church pews outside to allow patrons to get some fresh <br />air and he received permission from the property owner for the church pews. He said there will be no alcohol allowed <br />outside. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address CU 11 -13. Mr. Aramendia recommended approval of CU 11- <br />13, G's Lounge 4COP alcohol sales conditional use, based on staff report dated September 14, 2011 from Mr. <br />Sorensen to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. <br />The Board was polled. <br />
