Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />September 12, 2012 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated September 12, <br />2012, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department). Mr. Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the <br />minutes). Mr. Sorensen said Staff recommends approval with the following conditions: <br />1. All remaining and subsequent City Attorney and City Surveyor comments will be addressed before City <br />Commission approval. <br />2. The City Surveyor shall execute the signature block prior to referral of the final plat to the City Commission. <br />3. The final plat shall be submitted in the following form prior to review by the City Commission: (1) electronic <br />PDF copy and (2) 20" x 24" copies. <br />4. The applicant, per F.S. Chapter 177, is responsible for the City Surveyor and City Attorney fees. The <br />applicant is also responsible for Seminole County recording fees. <br />5. After City Commission approval, the applicant shall provide one (1) mylar of the recorded plat executed by <br />the owner, surveyor and City Surveyor, and any other information requested as part of compliance to F.S, <br />Chapter 177. <br />Mr. Meadows asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Sid Sehleve, Jr., 204 North Park Avenue, Sanford, <br />Florida came forward. Mr. Sehleve stated that Mr. Freeman was also available to answer any questions. Mr. <br />Sehleve said it is a residential lot and based on the size it was appropriate to split the lot. <br />Mr. Meadows asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Meadows asked for final comments from the applicant and staff. There were no final comments. <br />Mr. Meadows asked for a motion to address SP 12 -02. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve SP 12 -02 for the Freeman preliminary re -plat of 400 North Winter Park Drive, <br />Casselberry, Florida, and the approval is based upon the re -plat dated August 30, 2012, the findings of fact and <br />conclusions of the staff report dated September 12, 2012, and the five conditions of approval included in the staff <br />report. Mr. Wadley seconded the motion.
