Planning & Zoning Commission/ Local Planning Agency September 12, 2012 Page 2 Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated September 12, 2012, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department). Mr. Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Sorensen said Staff recommends approval with the following conditions: 1. All remaining and subsequent City Attorney and City Surveyor comments will be addressed before City Commission approval. 2. The City Surveyor shall execute the signature block prior to referral of the final plat to the City Commission. 3. The final plat shall be submitted in the following form prior to review by the City Commission: (1) electronic PDF copy and (2) 20" x 24" copies. 4. The applicant, per F.S. Chapter 177, is responsible for the City Surveyor and City Attorney fees. The applicant is also responsible for Seminole County recording fees. 5. After City Commission approval, the applicant shall provide one (1) mylar of the recorded plat executed by the owner, surveyor and City Surveyor, and any other information requested as part of compliance to F.S, Chapter 177. Mr. Meadows asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Sid Sehleve, Jr., 204 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida came forward. Mr. Sehleve stated that Mr. Freeman was also available to answer any questions. Mr. Sehleve said it is a residential lot and based on the size it was appropriate to split the lot. Mr. Meadows asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. Mr. Meadows asked for final comments from the applicant and staff. There were no final comments. Mr. Meadows asked for a motion to address SP 12 -02. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission approve SP 12 -02 for the Freeman preliminary re -plat of 400 North Winter Park Drive, Casselberry, Florida, and the approval is based upon the re -plat dated August 30, 2012, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated September 12, 2012, and the five conditions of approval included in the staff report. Mr. Wadley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
