Mr. Wadley moved to accept the December 12, 2012 minutes. Site plan review to demolish the current non - conforming <br />structure, construct an addition on the eastern side of the remaining structure, and add a 2nd story. Property located <br />at 1501 E. Altamonte Drive. <br />Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated February 13, 2013, to <br />the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department). Mr. <br />Sorensen provided a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Sorensen stated the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission approval of SPR 12 -05, site plan for an addition to an existing building and a 2nd story at <br />Lakeview Center, 1501 E. Altamonte Drive, would be based on the information provided in the staff report dated February 13, <br />2013 and the following conditions: <br />1. Approval of the following site modification requests: <br />• Section 3 -13.3, Landscape Strips Required Along Street Frontage: Requires 10 foot landscape strip along <br />entire street frontage — Applicant is providing a landscape strip of 0 to 17 feet in width for 50 linear feet of <br />127 linear feet of street frontage. <br />• Section 3 -13.4, Requirements for Interior Areas: Requires Interior Landscaping at 5% of total parking area — <br />Full reduction to requirement requested due to site constraints <br />• Section 3 -13.6, Other Landscape Requirements for Non - vehicular Use Areas: Requires 4 trees /2,000 <br />square feet of non - vehicular open space — Full reduction to requirement due to site constraints. <br />• Section 3 -15.6, Design and Specifications for Parking and Loading Areas: Requires 40% maximum sub- <br />standard parking spaces. <br />2. All Public Works issues must be addressed prior to issuance of a site construction permit. <br />3. The shrubs placed near the entrance shall be planted so as to not create a sight visibility obstruction for vehicles <br />exiting or entering the property. <br />
