Mr. Sorensen said <br />that the awnings would be constructed of a hard material and not a canvas type awning. <br />Mr. Meadows asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Meadows asked for a motion to address SPR 13 -01. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve SPR 13 -01, site plan for Applebee's Restaurant at 3315 South US Highway 17 -92, <br />based on the information provided in the staff report dated March 13, 2013, the site plan dated March 4, 2013, the <br />building elevations, and the following conditions: <br />1. Approval of the site modification request to reduce the required Interior Landscape requirement <br />from 58 trees to 31 trees. <br />2. Approval of the site modification request to allow 40% sub - standard parking spaces. <br />3. An additional handicap parking space will be provided to bring the total to 3, <br />4. All Public Works issues must be addressed prior to issuance of a site construction permit. <br />5. All conditions must be fully executed or the site plan becomes null and void, <br />6. The site plan is valid for one year. Failure to obtain a building permit within one year will result in <br />the expiration of the site plan approval. <br />7. Canopies are to be standing seam. <br />8. Dumpster enclosure gate is to be an architecturally pleasing solid structure. <br />Mr. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: CU 13:01: Applebee's Restaurant. Conditional use to sell alcohol in a CG zoning <br />district. Property located at 3315 S. US Highway 17192, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Mr. Jason Sorensen, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated March 13, <br />2013, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department). Mr. Sorensen presented a PowerPoint presentation (a copy is attached and made a part of the <br />minutes). <br />Mr. Sorensen said the Planning and Zoning Commission's approval of CU 13 -01 to allow the on -site <br />consumption of beer, wine and liquor as allowed by the 4COP state license, in conjunction with the operation of a <br />restaurant located at 3315 South US Highway 17 -92, should be based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the <br />staff report dated March 13, 2013, and the following conditions: <br />1. The conditional use shall be limited to the location of 3315 South US Highway 17 -92. <br />
