Community Redevelopment Agency <br />August 16, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />Mr. Jones requested that the City and the CRA sent a letter of congratulations to Mr. Lee Constantine who <br />was elected to the Seminole County Commission on August 7, 2012 because he has a visionary approach relative to <br />the CRA. Mr. Daigle requested staff provide the address for Mr. Constantine so that the Board Members could sent <br />a separate letter if they choose to do so. He also requested that staff provide a letter for his signature for Senator <br />Constantine. <br />Mr. Jones made a motion that Mr. Daigle send a letter to Mr. Constantine. Mr. McGregor seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the final approvals and execution of the documents required for the <br />loan /grant agreement. Mr. Daigle made a motion that the CRA accept Resolution 12 -02, Mr. Stark seconded the <br />motion. A brief discussion ensued regarding the length of time the building has been vacant, the gross sales and <br />business plan for the digital media company and the funds being disbursed on a reimbursement basis. Mr. <br />McGregor requested that staff provide information in their presentation to the City as to the business's gross sales <br />and what the money will do to help this business. <br />The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: Grassy Lake Area Redevelopment Assessment. <br />Mr. Donald Martin, Community Development Director, said at the last CRA meeting the Board requested <br />staff provide a presentation regarding the properties in and around Grassy Lake. Mr. Martin provided a PowerPoint <br />presentation regarding Grassy Lake Area Redevelopment Assessment (a copy is attached and made a part of the <br />minutes). A general discussion ensued regarding the redevelopment of Mr. Judge's parcel, Mr. Judge's grant and <br />assemblage of parcels in the Grassy Lake area. <br />Seventh Item of Business: Director's Report: <br />— Casselberry Golf Course <br />— City Center <br />— Black's Automotive— closing <br />— CRA Extension Update <br />Casselberry Golf Course <br />Mr. Donald Martin, Community Development Director, stated that staff continues to move forward with the <br />discussions regarding the transformation of the Casselberry Golf Course. He said the owners of the golf course <br />
