Ms. Smith explained that Mr. Don <br />Martin had discussions with Mr. Birdoff regarding the development of an indoor sports center in that area. She said <br />that Mr. Birdoff is moving forward with Seminole County. Mr. Jones said that he would like to see the CRA extended <br />so that the Board could assist with the future planning with the County due to the Board's experience and how <br />integral it is to the City of Casselberry's future. Ms. Smith said that the City has a good working relationship with <br />Seminole County. <br />Tenth Item of Business: Other Business. <br />Ms. Smith requested the Board make a motion to authorize staff to provide a notice to Black's Automotive <br />providing them their 120 day notice to vacate the site. Mr. McGregor made a motion authorizing staff to provide a <br />notice to Black's Automotive providing the 120 day notice to vacate the site. Mr. Trueba seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding extending Black's Automotive use of the site. Ms. Smith explained that <br />the City has a Brownfield Grant that expires at the end of June and if the City provides the 120 day notice now <br />Black's Automotive would need to vacate the site by June 15. She said that would give the City two weeks to utilize <br />the funding within that grant to conduct the Phase II Environmental Study on the site. Ms. Smith stated that a Phase <br />II Study has been done but we don't know what is going to happen on the site between now and June 15 so the City <br />wants an additional Phase II conducted on that site to ensure future tenants that it is a clean site. Ms. Smith said that <br />the tenant has already had 180 days through December 25, 2012, Ms, Smith stated that Black's Automotive was <br />provided business relocation costs as part of the contract and Black's Automotive is paying the CRA $1 a year to <br />remain on the site. <br />Mr. Jones requested a second vote on the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Mr. Trueba and Mr. McGregor excused themselves from the meeting. <br />Eleventh Item of Business: Public Comment <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry <br />reviewed the water flow on the City Center site. He suggested the City use an engineering firm to review the site. <br />
