CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of October 8, 2012 — Regular Meeting
Page 14 of 14
appeared that schools in Casselberry should not be greatly impacted. She added that there
was also some discussion about the possibility of school closures, and advised that the Mayors
and Commissioners in attendance had made it clear to the School Board members that they all
wished to be given sufficient advance notice if there were to be any plans for school closures.
She stated it was a very good meeting and she feels that the communication between the local
governments and the School Board is much better now with that there are active advisory
boards providing a voice for the residents, the elected officials and the various cities. Further
reported that there was also some discussion about EPathways, which is a virtual tool that
allows students to work above their grade level in subjects in which they excel.
Thanked Troop 341 again for attending, and invited them to come again when they are able to
attend a full meeting.
There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m.
DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION:,
ATTEST:
Donna G.
