CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 23, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />Distributed a recent Circuit Court case from Sarasota on Sunshine Law to the Commission for their review, and <br />gave a brief overview of the case the harsh remedies that could be applied by the Courts in the event of a <br />violation of the Sunshine Law. <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />• Reminded everyone of the Earth Day event on Saturday from 10 -3. He advised that the special guest <br />speaker would be Tom MacCubbin and invited everyone to attend. <br />• Advised that Bill Hufford and the Friends of the Park worked with South Seminole Middle School to <br />plant some bald cypress trees. <br />• Extended his prayers out to the Van Meter family, and expressed thanks from the family to those who <br />were able to attend the service for Debbie VanMeter. <br />® Commended Pamela Lynch and Kyle Dudgeon on the work they have done in developing the <br />casselberrybiz.org site. He stated that it is very thorough and is a valuable economic development tool <br />and good venue for getting information out about the City's businesses and development <br />opportunities. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon — Seat No. 3: <br />® Expressed condolences to the VanMeter family on the passing of Debbie VanMeter. <br />Commissioner Jon Miller — Seat No. 2: <br />Also expressed condolences to the VanMeter family on the passing of Debbie VanMeter. <br />Expressed thanks to the City staff.
