CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 24, 2011— Regular Meeting <br />Page 9 of 9 <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon — Seat No. 3: <br />Reported she had attended the Tri- County League of Cities meeting at Herndon Executive Airport and <br />Ms. Lipscomb had been elected to serve on the Board of Directors. Extended congratulations to Ms. <br />Lipscomb. <br />Advised she had attended a play last Saturday called Touch and Go at an old renovated theater on First <br />Street in Sanford. She stated it was about the history of Sanford and was quite good. She encouraged <br />everyone to see it if they got the chance. <br />Encouraged everyone to support the Orlando Ballet by attending performances when they could. <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Jon Miller — Seat No. 2: <br />No report. <br />Mayor Charlene Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Reported that last Friday she attended a basketball game between the Police Department and South <br />Seminole Middle School staff and students. She stated it also served as a canned food drive for the <br />Care Cabin at Casselberry Elementary and ten large boxes of food were collected. <br />Stated that she also had been a presenter later Friday night for the Wayne Densch Performing Arts <br />Awards Ceremony and it was a wonderful event which showcased a lot of young local talent. <br />Commended Chief McNeil and the Police Department for conducting Police Academies at both <br />Casselberry Elementary and South Seminole Middle School. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 8:21 p.m. <br />DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION: > , <br />ATTEST <br />Donna G.
