CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of November 14, 2011— Regular Meeting Page 2 of 23 !' U The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present with the exception of Commissioner Doerner. City Manager Barbara Lipscomb noted for the record that a letter of resignation had been received from Commissioner Susan Doerner. She further advised that an Amended Agenda had been prepared to reflect a discussion of the City Colnlnission vacancy as an additional item and that a copy of the Amended Agenda had been provided to the Commission and to the audience. Mayor Glancy stated that the presentation under Agenda Item 12A, North Casselberry Initiatives, was estimated to last approximately one hour and inquired whether the Commission would like to consider moving the item to the next meeting, or perhaps to a workshop, in light of the addition of the item relating to the Commission vacancy. Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding the merits ofmoving the North Casselberry Initiatives item to the next Commission meeting. The Commission as a whole agreed it would be appropriate to move the item, as there would potentially be a good deal of questions and discussion about the presentation. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to amend the Agenda to remove Item 12A, North Casselberry Initiatives, and place it on the December 12, 2011 Regular Commission Meeting Agenda. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Miller. Discussion: Additional brief discussion ensued regarding whether the item should be scheduled for the next regular meeting, or should be brought back as a workshop item. Ms. Lipscomb advised that there was some flexibility depending on the Commissioners' schedules over the next few weeks. The Commissioners decided as a whole to move the item forward to a time and date to be determined. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to amend the previous motion to remove Item 12A, North Casselberry Initiatives from the agenda and move the item forward to a time and date to be determined. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Miller. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 -0. Original motion, as amended carried unanimously by voice vote 4 -0. .
