No one came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing <br />relative to Ordinance 11 -1364. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 11 -1364 on first reading, <br />as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Miller. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 4 -0. <br />D. Public Hearing: First Reading of Ordinance 11 -1365 — Amendment to the Official <br />Zoning Map (ZB 11 -04I <br />The City Cleric read Ordinance 11 -1365 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2 -4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY <br />OF CASSELBERRY, FLROIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THOSE PARCELS ANNEXED INTO THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY IN 2011 GENERALLY LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF US <br />HIGHWAY 17 -92 AND SEMINOLA BOULEVARD AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS <br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to First Reading of Ordinance 11 -1365 was <br />published in the Orlando Sentinel on November 3, 2011. <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Eric Raasch, Planner, gave a brief overview ofthe item, stating that this was a partner <br />amendment to the one just heard. He explained that it was an administrative action to apply the most <br />comparable City of Casselberry zoning designations to properties annexed into the City in June of 2011. He <br />added that the properties were located in the general vicinity of U.S. Highway 17 -92 and Seminola Boulevard, <br />and consisted of 17 parcels totaling 13.25 acres. <br />Mr. Raash advised that the proposed amendments were consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, were <br />compatible with the surrounding mix of zoning and land uses, and would not negatively impact the City's <br />ability to provide services. He added that staff recommended approval, and that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, acting as the City's local planning agency, had also provided a unanimous favorable <br />recommendation at its November 9, 2012 meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of <br />Ordinance 11 -1365 on first reading. <br />
