CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 11, 2013 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />Public Hearing: The following individuals came forward to address Ordinance 13 -1386: <br />1. Mr. James Fraleigh, 23 Theresa Court, voiced concerns about various capital improvement <br />projects, stating that the City's focus should be on providing services to the residents and not <br />just on making things pretty. He also expressed concerns about safety pertaining to the <br />sidewalk project along 17 -92. <br />2. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, reiterated his statements from an earlier <br />meeting, expressing concerns about whether the Five Year Capital Improvement Plan should <br />be attached to the City's Comprehensive Plan if it was not required by the State. <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 12 -1386. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 12 -1386 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding the projects contained in the Capital Improvement Plan. <br />Commissioner Hufford clarified that there were a myriad of projects, most of which were to improve or <br />maintain the City's infrastructure. There was also a brief discussion about the City's ongoing sidewalk <br />projects, with a goal of providing walkability in all of the City's communities. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 -0. <br />No items were scheduled for consideration on this agenda. <br />No items were scheduled for consideration on this agenda. <br />FFAEBMX <br />No items were scheduled for consideration on this agenda. <br />A.
