SECTION 2. The City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances, Part II, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 66, "Planning <br />and Development ", shall be amended as follows; <br />ARTICLE H. —LOCAL LAND PLANNING AGENCY <br />Sec. 66 -26. - Planning and Zoning Commission to serve as Lo�l i=and Planning Agency; advisory committees and <br />task forces. <br />Sec. 66 -27. - Funding. <br />Sec. 66 -28. - Recommendation of comprehensive land plan. <br />Sec. 66 -29. - Adoption of comprehensive plan. <br />Sec. 66 -30. - Public participation in land planning app )lntment of Citizens Advisor, Committee <br />Sec. 66 -31. - Authority and duties of City Commission. <br />Sec. 66 -32. - Consolidation with other agencies. <br />Sec. 66 -26. - Planning and Zoning Commission to serve as Land Planning Agency; advisory committees and task <br />forces. <br />(a) The City Planning and Zoning Commission shall function as the City Loar t Planning Agency for all purposes and <br />without limitation. <br />(b) The City Local LLand Planning Agency may establish advisory committees or task forces to aid and assist the City <br />Local -Land Planning Agency and the City Commission in carrying out the responsibilities of its continuing planning <br />program. <br />Sec. 66.27. - Funding. <br />All operational costs of the City Local Land Planning Agency may be funded from the general revenue fund of the City. <br />Subsequent years of operation may be funded by the City as a part of the annual budget requirements, All funding by the <br />City may be augmented by federal, state, county and other assistance programs, revenues, gifts, donations and funds, <br />and all other available sources. <br />Sec. 66.30. - Public participation in land planning; appointment of Citizens AdYisoBEqqMMAjqq. <br />(a) The City Planning and Zoning Commission, as the City's Local Land Planning Agency, shall +r ediate4y <br />establish procedures for developing and providing effective public participation in all planning. These procedures shall <br />include but not be limited to the following; <br />(1) Broad dissemination of detailed proposals and alternatives. <br />(2) The opportunity for written public comments. <br />(3) Public meetings after reasonable notice. <br />Ordinance 12 -1369 <br />Page 2 <br />
