CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 25, 2012 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 14 <br />Discussion: Discussion ensued about the possibility of annexation of the 436 corridor up to the SunRail <br />station. Mr. Newlon suggested that this might be a good discussion item for a future agenda, noting that would <br />allow staff time to gather additional information for the Commission's consideration. <br />Mayor Charlene Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />® Distributed a copy of The Suspension of School Operations Team Report which she received from <br />Andy Searles. <br />Discussion: Additional discussion ensued about the report, and the various issues with possible school <br />closures and the possibility of federal funding for exporting students. <br />• Advised she had received notice that Harold Stewart would no longer be able to serve on the <br />MetroPlan Citizen's Advisory Committee and asked the Commissioners to suggest a replacement to <br />represent the Casselberry community. Commissioners Aramendia and Miller suggested Ed Bakalla <br />and Jerry Buckman, respectively. City Clerk Donna Gardner advised that the replacement would need <br />to be available the 0' Wednesday of each month from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. Mayor Glancy asked that the <br />Commissioners submit their suggestions for a replacement to Ms. Gardner to be brought up at a future <br />meeting. <br />• Attended the Installation event for Casselberry Veteran's Auxiliary. Advised that Battalion Chief Ben <br />DeCuir was recognized as Firefighter of the Year and Sgt.
