Mr. Rivera, Code Enforcement Officer stated this was accurate. When the City was contacted by the Bank <br />fines had been mm~ing because we were not notified repairs had been done, upon inspection it was <br />observed tarps were removed and fines continued to run. At some point after the Bank faxed over <br />information advising the repair was done on 12/22/2011, but they failed to contact the City on the 22"d. <br />MOTION: Ms. Hale moved that the Board recommend to the City Commission that the lien will be <br />reduced in this case from $3,550.00 to $600.00, to be paid within 60 days of the commission's order or the <br />fine reverts to the original fine amount. The reason for this reduction is, satisfaction of repair work done <br />within time limit. Mr. Smith seconded the motion. Mr. Webb stated during the last <br />meeting, that as soon as he knew he was in violation, he would move the boat. It was also stated the correct <br />code is not available for the public on the website. Mr. Webb also stated there is a Board member with the <br />same violation as his. <br />MOTION: Ms. Hale moved to find Respondents in this case in violation of the City Code as charged and <br />that Respondent correct the violation before 1:00 p.m. on 05/24/2012. In the event Respondent does not <br />comply by this date, a fine in the amount of $25.00 per day will be imposed for each day the violation <br />continues past the aforestated date. The Respondent is further. ordered to contact the Code Compliance <br />Officer to verify compliance with this Order. Mr. Smith seconded the motion.
