MOTION: Mr. Henson moved that the Board recommend to the City Commission that, the lien will be <br />reduced in this case from $3,600.00 to $2,500.00, to be paid within 60 days of the commission's order or <br />the fine reverts to the original fine amount. The reason for this reduction is the extended time it tools to <br />come into compliance, the gravity of the situation and any other circumstances that the Board seems fitting. <br />Ms. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />CONTINUED CASES <br />No tree permit, City Code Section 3-14.4 <br />® CE-11-02458 970 SR 436 <br />Ms. Broman, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. <br />Julius Lopez, 970 SR 436; Casselberry advised that when they cut the trees they did not know a permit was <br />needed and upon finding out they immediately came and applied for the permit. <br />MOTION: Mr. Herron moved to dismiss this case. Ms. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Tree replacement requirements, City Code Section 3-14.8 A <br />® CE-11-02561 970 SR 436 <br />Ms. Broman, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. <br />MOTION: Mr. Henson moved that this case be continued to the 05/10/2012 Code Enforcement <br />Board Meeting, or to the next regularly schedule meeting. Ms. Hale seconded the motion. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />CASES IN COMPLIANCE PRIOR TO HEARING <br />Trash & debris, City Code Section 70-2(C) <br />® CE-11-02865 764 N Winter Parlc Dr <br />Mr. Brown, Code Compliance Supervisor, advised that the above cases would not be heard due to <br />compliance being achieved. <br />NEW CASES <br />No building~permit, City Code Section 1-4.3 <br />® CE-11-02554 227 Brighton Way <br />Mr. Luis, Code Compliance Officer, gave testimony for the above case. <br />MOTION: Mr. Smith moved to find Respondents in this case in violation of the City Code as charged and <br />that Respondents correct the violation before 1:00 p.m. on 05/10/2012. In the event Respondent does not <br />comply by this date, a fine in the amount of $25.00 per day will be imposed for each day the violation <br />continues past the aforestated date. The Respondents are further ordered to contact the Code Compliance <br />Officer to verify compliance with this Order. Ms. Hale seconded the motion.
