Board of Adjustment <br />January 26, 2012 <br />Page 6 <br />Ms. Linda Ingglin, a member of the community, came forward. She said a few years ago the City Commission <br />took on a mission to make this community more appealing and it has come a long way. Ms. Ingglin said part of that <br />mission is to regulate signage and the signage code is in place for a reason. Ms. Ingglin questioned the comparison of <br />Denny's and the Waffle House site to the size of the buildings and signage. <br />A discussion ensued regarding the criteria required to grant a variance. Ms. Gauvin asked for a motion for BA <br />11-09. Mr, McMullen made a motion to deny BA 11-09 Waffle House variance request for additional sign copy area. Mr. <br />Weinroth seconded the motion. <br />The Board was polled, <br />Mary Anne Gauvin Yes <br />Earl McMullen Yes <br />Luis Guzman Yes <br />Stanley Weinroth Yes <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Sixth Item of Business: Other Business <br />Ms. Smith thanked the Board Members for their service on the Board of Adjustment. Ms. Smith congratulated <br />Mr. Weinroth and Mr. Guzman on their advancement to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
