Mayors/Managers Group Report -Mayor GlancX Reported she chaired her last meeting of the group which was held in Casselbeny on February 21st, noting Winter Springs Mayor Lacey was selected as the new Chair of the group. Noted the group consensus was to meet with the School Board Chair at the March meeting, rather than the frill School Board, as requested. The discussion with the School Board Chair will include stormwater fees. E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report - Commissioner Hufford No I°eport. F. Seminole County Redevelopment Plannin~Agenc~port -Commissioner Solomon Stated the Redevelopment Planning Agency has not met, but advised the County has hired a new program manager. Mr. Donald Martin, Community Development Director, stated the new program manager is scheduled to meet with him and the Interim City Manager on February 29t~'. 14o CITY li/IAAGE'S P®lZ'I' Provided an update on the ongoing meetings of staff and ACI regarding the development concept for the 15 acres. Reported a workshop will be scheduled in the near fiihue to talk about the ACI concept and any other options the Commission may wish to consider. Requested consideration of an offer of City assistance to Mr. Aaron Sarkisian in the replacement of the Casselbeny Trails BMX facility from the residential property at 71 North Winter Park Drive to a more appropriate location. Commission consensus was to authorize the Interim City 1Vlanager to extend an offer of City assistance to Aaron Sarl~isian in the establishment of a legitimate BMX facility that is properly located, permitted, insured and governed.
