Resolution 11-2277 -Amendment No. 6 to Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Agreement for Continuing Consulting Transportation En ing eerin> Services with HNTB Corporation and Related Budget Amendment #11-040 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3 TO THE CONTINUING CONSULTING TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HNTB CORPORATION TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE PHASE II SEGMENT OF TH ENORTH WINTER PARK DRIVE PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 11-2277 provides for Amendment No. 6 to Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Agreement for Continuing Consulting Transportation Engineering Services with HNTB Corporation for additional post design/transportation engineering services for the North Winter Park Drive Phase II Project, for an amount not to exceed $25,000, and related Budget Amendment #11-040. Budget Impact: Amendment No. 6 is to provide additional services billed on an hourly basis for an amount not to exceed a total of $25,000 without prior authorization. It is recommended that a portion of the City's Road Impact Fee fiords be committed to cover this additional cost. The associated Budget Amendment # 11- 040 is necessary to allocate use of these fiords for this project. It should be noted that it is anticipated there will also be some additional construction costs associated with the requested ADA improvements. This will be brought before the Commission at a firture date once designs are complete and a Change Order proposal is worked out with the contractor. The City will pursue alternative funding options with FDOT to potentially cover these costs. BA# 11-040: Explanation of Request: This budget amendment is necessary to reflect the use of Road hnpact Fees to cover additional engineering design/post design service costs for the North Winter Park Drive project associated with Amendment No. 6 to the Supplement Agreement No. 3 to the Continuing Consulting Transportation Engineering Services Agreement between the City of Casselberry and HNTB Corporation.
