CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />The City of Casselberry Board of Adjustment held a public hearing on Thursday, October 27,2011, at 6:30 P.M., <br />in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Members present were: <br />Luis Guzman, Vice-Chairman <br />Earl McMullen <br />Stanley Weinroth <br />Phyllis Wallace, Alternate <br />Members absent were; <br />Mary Anne Gauvin, Chairman <br />Staff members present; <br />Eric Raasch, Planner I <br />Joni Dixon, Sr, Staff Assistant <br />First Item of Business: Call to ®rderlRoll Call <br />The meeting was called to order by Mr. Guzman at 6:30 p.m. Roll was called; a quorum was present. <br />Second Item of Business: Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mr. Guzman led the Pledge of Allegiance, <br />Third Item of Business: Approval of Minutes for the public hearing held on Thursday, August 25, 2011. <br />Mr. Guzman stated the Chair would entertain a motion on the approval of the minutes for the public hearing held <br />on Thursday, August 25, 2011. Mr. McMullen moved to accept the August 25, 2011 minutes, Mr, Weinroth seconded the <br />motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote, <br />Fourth Item of Business: Disclosure of Ex•Parte communications. <br />No disclosure of Ex Parte Communications was made by the Commissioners, <br />Fifth Item of Business: BA 11.07: 4460 South US Highway 17.92 -Taco Bell. Request for a waiver of the <br />required six month waiting period for re-application to the Board of Adjustment as outlined in ULDR Section <br />1.2.1(D)(4). <br />Mr, Guzman asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Sara Scott, 4 Spring Glen Drive, Debary, Florida came <br />forward. Ms. Scott requested the Board of Adjustment waive the six month waiting period for the Administrative <br />Determination. She said that the proposed arches were determined to be signs; however, we believe they are building <br />lights that are more aesthetic and consistent with the overall building design, Ms, Scott said the arches are intended to <br />
