No one <br />came forward. <br />Ms. Gauvin asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in opposition to the request. Mr. <br />John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry stated that several <br />years ago the golf course wanted to install lights at the driving range. He said he was concerned about the lighting <br />because he lived across the lake from the driving range. Mr. Casselberry reviewed the type of lighting that was used at a <br />sports park in Jacksonville. Mr. Casselberry felt that bright lights devalue the neighborhood. He suggested that staff <br />should visit the site before installing new lights at the City's park. <br />Mr. Casselberrysuggested that an eye doctorshould be consulted regarding the amount of lighting that should <br />be used on the ball fields. <br />Ms, Gauvin asked for a motion for BA 11-03. Mr. McMullen made a motion to approve BA 11-03 for 806 Mark <br />David Boulevard for baseball field lighting. A brief discussion ensued regarding the variance <br />criteria necessary to grant a variance.
