I 0 ®~ 236 <br />HER A, the electors have approved City Charter Amendment 2, and it is now <br />effective, as set forth in Ordinance 07-1214; and <br />HAS, as a result of the passage of Charter Amendment 2, the City qualifying <br />dates must be changed to earlier dates; and <br />H S, pursuant to §100.3605, Fla. Stat., a referendum is not required when <br />changing qualifying dates for members of the governing body; and <br />H S, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the <br />original text and ~+r;V° +"r^„^" shall constitute deletions to the original text. <br />O TH E, IT NACT D Y TH CI CO I SIO O TH CITY <br />CA L RY, FLORIDA A FOLLO <br />SECTION ONE: Section 36, Procedure forplacing names on ballot; alternative <br />method of qualifying, of Article VII, Elections, of the Charter of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, is hereby amended as follows: <br />Sec. 3 Procedure for lacin names on ballot; alternative <br />method of qualifying. <br />Any elector may become a candidate for Mayor/Commissioner or <br />Commissioner by filing with the City Clerk an application to have <br />his/her name printed on the ballot as a candidate for a seat <br />specifically named from : .12.:00 a.m. Monday <br />through 12:00 a.m. Friday, durina reaular business hours, forthefive- <br />day period during the sese~~ third full week in A~gu-stJune. Each <br />person seeking election to the City Commission shall pay, at the time <br />of qualifying for office, a qualifying fee to the City Clerk.
