Recording fees have been paid; <br />other administrative costs are minimal and would be recouped as part of the lien amount received. The <br />amended lien amounts must be paid within 60 days or the waivers become mill and void. Wavierheduction of a <br />third lien in the amount of $1,185 for the bank's failure to register the propel•ty was also considered and denied <br />by the Code Enforcement Board. <br />Budget Impact: The lien amount paid would be recognized in the City Budget as income received. <br />Recommendation: :The City Manager and the Community Development Director requested consideration <br />of the Code Enforcement Board's recommendation to reduce the total lien amount from $19,760 to $1,000 to <br />be paid within 60 days. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to reduce the lien for case number CE-09-00639 <br />from $15,560 to $500, to be paid within 60 days or the lien fine amount will <br />revert back to the original amount. Motion was seconded by Commissionel• <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to reduce the lien for case number CE-10-02246 <br />from $4,200 to $500, to be paid within 60 days or the lien fine amount will <br />revert back to the original amount. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to deny any waiver or reduction for case <br />number CE-10-00625; the $1,185 fine stands.
