He said this is comparable to a rear setback and Seminola Boulevard functions as the rear <br />of the building. He said additional landscaping would be added to screen the rear of the property. A brief discussion <br />ensued regarding the type of grass being used on the site. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. <br />Casselberry questioned the type of aircraft engines being used on the site. Mr. Casselberry reviewed various types <br />of aircraft engines and the noise levels generated by the engines. He suggested adding a device to the aircraft to <br />reduce the noise generated from the engines. <br />Mr. Casselberry asked if the alcohol distance separation from school applied to the Aviation Institute of <br />Maintenance. Mr. Raasch explained the distance separation from alcohol sales only applies to elementary and <br />secondary schools and it did not apply to technical schools, <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the noise levels generated from the aircraft engines, additional <br />screening for the loading area and traffic flow on Button Road. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SPR 11-01. Mr. Aramendia recommended approval of SPR <br />11-01, Aviation Institution of Maintenance located at 2725 South US Highway 17-92 based on the staff report dated <br />March 23, 2011 from Mr. Raasch to the Planning and Zoning Commission with the additional conditions of approval: <br />16. St. Augustine or Zoysia grass used as sod material. <br />17. No left turn in or out from the southern access point of the property. <br />18.
