Conditional use request to <br />conduct a "trades and skilled services" in a CG zoning district. <br />Mr. Eric Raasch, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated March 9, 2011, <br />supported by a PowerPoint presentation, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on <br />file in the Community Development Department). Mr. Raasch said upon review of the conditional use request, the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission's approval of CU 11-03 to allow a trades and skilled services use within the CG <br />zoning district at the property located at 865 State Road 436, would be based on the findings of fact and conclusions <br />of the staff report dated March 9, 2010, and the following conditions: <br />1. The conditional use shall be limited to the location of 865 State Road 436. <br />2. The conditional use shall be limited to Art Glass by Sonya, Inc. <br />3. All work and services shall be performed indoors, <br />4. The use shall comply with the noise standards found in Section 3-17.4 of the ULDRs, <br />5. There shall be no outside display or storage of goods, materials, services or vehicles. <br />6. The conditional use shall commence within 90 days of the approval. <br />7. The conditional use shall expire if the use is discontinued for more than 90 days. <br />8. All signage requires additional permit approval and must comply with all City requirements. <br />9. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed or the conditional use shall become null <br />and void. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Marty Canfield and Ms. Sonya Canfield, 502 Key <br />Court, Orlando, Florida came forward. A brief discussion ensued regarding the type of glass work performed at the <br />site, <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request, No one came forward. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address CU 11-03. Mr. Aramendia recommended approval of CU 11-03 <br />for Glass by Sonya Inc, 865 State Road 436, based on the staff report dated March 9, 2011 from Mr, Raasch to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission as presented. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br />
