Coordination with Supervisor of lections. The City Clerk is hereby <br />authorized and directed to instruct and coordinate with the Supervisor of Elections of <br />Seminole Countyto include the above-stated referendum question on the ballotforthe general <br />election to be held on November7, 2000 and to provide forthe printing of ballots, the conduct <br />of the election, including absentee procedures and the canvassing of returns. <br />Section 4. Notice of Referendum Election. General notice shall be first published <br />at least thirty (30) days prior to the November 7, 2000 election. The publication of said notice <br />shall be made at least twice, once in the fifth week and once in the third week prior to the week <br />in which the election is held, in the manner provided in Section 100.342, Florida Statutes <br />(1999). <br />Section 5. Conflicts. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />Section 6. Severability. Should any section or provision of this Ordinance, or any <br />portion hereof, any paragraph, sentence or word be declared by a Court of competent <br />jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this <br />Ordinance. To the greatest extent allowed by law, this Ordinance shall be declared severable. <br />Section 7. Effective ®ates.
