Regular Meeting Page 12 of 18 Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 09-1270 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on January 25, 2009 and February 1,2009. Staff Presentation: Mr. Gerald Paradise, Community Development Director, stated Ordinance 09-1270 provides for annexation of a parcel ofland and residential structure located at 571 Ruby Court, south of Lake Howell Lane. The lands to be annexed consist of approximately .19 acres which are adjacent and contiguous to the City limits, will not create an enclave, is reasonably compact, is in an urban area as defined in the criteria and meets the statutory requirements for annexation, as established in Chapter 171, Florida Statutes. The subject property has a Seminole County future land use designation of Residential and an A-I (Agricultural) zoning designation. The City Commission passed Ordinance 09-1270 on first reading on January 12, 2009. Budget Impact: The subj ect property is valued at $125,839 and currently provides $568 in County property taxes. The subject property will provide $616 in City property taxes and an estimated $1,063 total fiscal impact as currently developed. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Ordinance 09-1270 on second reading. Public Hearing: No one came forward to address Ordinance 09-1270. MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve Ordinance 09-1970 on second reading as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. G. Second Reading of Ordinance 08-1256 - Voluntary Annexation of 1635 State Road 436 The City Clerk read Ordinance 08-1256 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION; MAKING FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 21, RANGE 30; REDEFINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN COUNTY LICENSEES FOLLOWING THEIR BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION WITHIN THE LANDS TO BE ANNEXED MAY CONTINUE TO FOLLOW SUCH BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CORPORATE LIMITS WITHOUT THE NECESSITY OF FURTHER QUALIFICATION THEREFORE; PROVIDING THAT EFFECTIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW THE LANDS TO BE ANNEXED SHALL BE ASSESSED FORPA YMENT OFMUNICIP ALAD V ALOREMTAXES; DIRECTING
