Board Appointment -Community Redevelopment Agency <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Donna Gardner, City Clerk, stated an application for appointment to the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency was being presented for consideration to fill the unexpired term of former board <br />member Ms. Cynthia Campbell who resigned in March 2010. On application for this vacancy as received in <br />July 2010 from Mr. Brian Riley, General Manager of the Suburban Lodge. Pursuant to City Code, Mr. Riley's <br />application was forwarded to the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners in July for consideration. <br />The Board of County Commissioners unanimously recommended appointment of Mr. Riley as a County <br />Representative on the Casselberry CRA at their September 15, 2010 meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the City Clerlc recommended that the City Commission consider <br />appointment of Mr. Brian Riley to the Community Redevelopment Agency, as a County representative, to fill <br />the unexpired term of Ms. Cynthia Campbell, term effective until January 2012. <br />MOTION: Commissionel• Miller moved to appoint Mr. Brian Riley to the Community <br />Development Agency, as a County Representative, to fill the unexpired term of <br />Ms. Cynthia Campbell, term effective until January 2012. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 <br />-0. <br />
