Seminole County Redevelopment Planning eg_ncy Report -Vice Mayor Solomon <br />No report. <br />1 CITY ADAGE '~ P T <br />® Extended condolences to Mr. Randy Newlon, Finance Director for the recent passing of his father. <br />® Reported she has made the decision to not renew the City's membership with the Seminole County <br />Regional Chamber of Commerce since the City is emrently so involved with the Casselbeny Chamber <br />of Commerce and due to recent organizational challenges at the County organization. <br />1. CITY ATTI~1vEY' PT <br />Noted there have been several recent lawsuits involving public records and elected officials emails on <br />their private computers, which have resulted in costing the local entities significant amounts of monies <br />in attorney fees alone. The City Attorney implored the members of the City Commission to forward <br />any emails regarding City business that come to their personal email addresses to the City Clerk for <br />safekeeping so that if challenged in court the City can say absolutely everything has been forwarded to <br />the City Clerk. <br />16. CITY CI.EI~ 1'IZT <br />® Added to the City Attorney's report by stating that the members of the City Commission could <br />forward emails from their personal email addresses to their respective City email addresses and a copy <br />would automatically be sent to the City Clerk. Further noted that the City Commission Email Policy <br />requires that Commission member responses relating to City business only be sent from City email <br />address accounts and cannot be sent from personal email address accounts. <br />17. CITY C 1VIISINE S' EPIaTS/Cl~I EI®T~ <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner -Seat No. 1: <br />® Voiced concerns regarding the landscaping at the Progress Energy substation located on Winter Park <br />Drive, noting that most of it is dead and deteriorated. <br />Commissioner Jon Miller - Seat No. 2: <br />® Extended condolences to Finance Director Randy Newlon on the recent passing of his father. <br />® Amrounced to the City Commission that he may have to travel out of town the week of April 12t~' and <br />
