WI~EREAS, the City Commission finds that the problems of the stated uses continue to exist and that actions are being taken to address those problems and to enable the City to take corrective action; however, additional time is needed to adequately address the issues facing the City; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, after holding a public hearing, finds that it is appropriate to extend the temporary moratorium on the licensing and permitting of certain activities related to game rooms, arcades, internet cafes, sweepstakes redemption centers and similar indoor entertainment and amusement facilities; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held pursuant to the required published notice at which hearing the parties in interest and all others had an opportunity to be and were, in fact, heard. ~!®W, THEREF®RE, ~E IT ENACTE® by the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida: SECTI®N ~. TEMP®RARY M®RAT®RIUM UP®~ THE ISSUANCE ®F GAME R®®MS ARCH®ES INTERNET CAFES SWEEPSTAKES RE®EMPTI®N CENTERS AN® SIMILAR IN®®®R ENTERTAINMENT AN® AMUSEMENT ACTI!/ITl( PERMITS.. The conditions and requirements imposed by the adoption of Ordinance 10- 1312, Resolution 10-2153, and Resolution 10-2188 shall be extended for an additional ninety (90) days. The moratorium shall expire at midnight, May 4, 2011. SECTI®N 3. C®nflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTI®N 4. Severa~ility. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
