RES®LIJI°I®~! 11®2211 <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry adopted <br />Ordinance 10-1312 on February 8, 2010 to restrict the issuance of any business tax <br />license, permit, conditional use approval, site plan approval and any other official <br />action of the City of Casselberry having the effect of permitting or allowing the <br />construction and/or operation of certain businesses within the City of Casselberry, <br />related to game rooms, arcades, Internet cafes, sweepstakes redemption centers <br />and similar indoor entertainment and amusement activities for 180 days; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 4(b) of Ordinance 10-1312 provides an opportunity for <br />the City Commission to extend the moratorium for an additional ninety (90) days <br />upon a finding by the City Commission set forth in the ordinance that the problems <br />giving rise to the need for the temporary moratorium established therein continue to <br />exist and that reasonable progress is being made in carrying out a specific and <br />prompt plan of corrective legislative action, but that additional time is reasonably <br />needed to adequately address the issues facing the City; and <br />UVHEREAS, the moratorium was extended upon adoption of Resolution 10- <br />2153 by the City Commission on July 12, 2010 to expire on November 5, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the moratorium was extended upon adoption of Resolution 10- <br />2188 by the City Commission on October 25, 2010 to expire on February 3, 2011; <br />and <br />
