(B) A copy of this Preliminary Rate Resolution and the updated Street Lighting <br />Assessment Roll shall be maintained on file in the office of the City Manager or such person's <br />designee and open to public inspection. The foregoing shall not be construed to require that the <br />Street Lighting Assessment Roll be in printed form if the amount of the Street Lighting <br />Assessment for each Tax Parcel can be determined by use of an available computer terminal. <br />(C) It is hereby ascertained, determined, and declared that the method of determining <br />the Street Lighting Assessments as set forth in this Preliminary Rate Resolution is a fair and <br />reasonable method of apportioning the Street Lighting Assessed Costs among parcels of <br />benefited property located within the Street Lighting Service Area. <br />SECTION 9. METHOD OF COLLECTION. <br />(A) The Street Lighting Assessments imposed against non-Government Property shall <br />be collected pursuant the Uniform Assessment Collection Act, as provided in Section 5.01 of the <br />Ordinance. <br />(B) The Street Lighting Assessments imposed against Government Property shall be <br />collected pursuant to the procedures provided in Section 5.03 of the Ordinance. <br />SECTION 10. PUBLIC HEARING. A public hearing will be conducted by the City <br />Commission at 7:00 p.m. on August 23, 2010, in Commission Chambers, City Hall, 95 Triplet <br />Lake Drive, Casselbcrry, Florida, to consider imposition of the Street Lighting Assessments and <br />their collection as a non-ad valorem assessment. <br />SECTION 11. NOTICE BY PUBLICATION. The City Manager or such person's <br />designee shall publish a notice of the public hearing authorized by Section 10 hereof in the <br />manner and the time provided in Section 3.04 of the Ordinance. The published notice shall be in <br />substantially the form attached hereto as Appendix A. <br />5 <br />
