provision of street lighting services, facilities, and programs in an amount not less than the Street <br />Lighting Assessment imposed against such parcel, computed. in the manner set forth in this <br />Preliminary Rate Resolution. <br />SECTION 4. IMPOSITION AND COMPUTATION OF STREET LIGHTING <br />ASSESSMENTS. Street Lighting Assessments shall be imposed against all Tax Parcels, except <br />for Excluded Parcels, within the Street Lighting Service Area. Street Lighting Assessments shall <br />be computed in the manner set forth in this Preliminary Rate Resolution. When imposed, the <br />Street Lighting Assessments shall constitute a lien upon the Tax Parcels located in the Street <br />Lighting Service Area pursuant to Section 2.05 of the Ordinance. <br />SECTION 5. LEGISLATIVE DETERMINATIONS OF SPECIAL BENEFIT AND <br />FAIR APPORTIONMENT. The legislative determinations of special benefit and fair <br />apportionment embodied in the Ordinance, the Initial Assessment Resolution and the Final <br />Assessment Resolution are affirmed and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 6. ESTIMATED STREET LIGHTING ASSESSED COST. <br />(A) The estimated Street Lighting Assessed Cost for the Commercial Corridor Street <br />Lighting Service Area is $55,000 for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2010. This Street <br />Lighting Assessed Cost will be funded through the imposition of Assessments against property <br />located within the Commercial Corridor Street Lighting Service Area in the manner set forth in <br />this Preliminary Rate Resolution. As provided in the Final Assessment Resolution, the <br />Commercial Corridor Street Lighting Service Area encompasses all Tax Parcels, except for the <br />Excluded Parcels, abutting: (i) US 17-92 from the northern City limit to SR436 and (ii) SR436 <br />from US17-92 to the end of the City limits, as more particularly described in Appendix A <br />attached to the Initial Assessment Resolution, which is available for review in the City <br />Manager's office. <br />3 <br />
