Mr. Jamison stated that LYNX has secured the federal funding to build the ITS Flex Bus <br />Demonstration Project; however, LYNX needs to secure the funding to operate the project. He said that the final <br />design of the project is completed. <br />Mr. Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry felt that <br />the transit signal priority was not good. Mr. Casselberry questioned the use of transportation along Ivanhoe to <br />Orange and Mr. Casselberry felt that LYNX would benefit if the route was extended to the north. <br />The agenda was modified to discuss agenda items that required a quorum. <br />Fourth Item of Business: Review and Approval of the Revised Commercial FacadelReconstruction <br />Improvement Grant Application -Oxford Square, Ltd. <br />Ms. Pamela Lynch, Economic Development Coordinator, reviewed staffs memo dated March 12, 2010 (a <br />copy is on file in the Community Development Department). In response to the Board's question, Mr. Donald <br />Rosenthal, applicant, stated that originally the work involved a redress of the facade where needed, redo the under <br />canopy system to an aluminum soffit system and paint the building. He said the current plans include demolishing <br />the entire fascia, redo dormers into solid mass and redo under canopy to an aluminum system and redo all the <br />columns as well. <br />Mr. McGregor made a motion to approve the Revised Commercial FacadelReconstruction Improvement <br />Grant Application. Mr. Daigle seconded the motion. <br />Mr. Martin stated that the $30,000 that was budgeted for this year has been encumbered with a previous <br />approved project; however, funds can be reallocated to cover this application. After a brief discussion, the motion <br />passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Commissioner Solomon stated the landscaping is a distraction on the property. <br />Fifth Item of Business: Review and Approval of the Revised Commercial FacadelReconstruction <br />Improvement Grant Agreement -Oxford Square, Ltd. <br />Ms. Pamela Lynch, Economic Development Coordinator, reviewed the Grant Funding for Commercial <br />Facade/Reconstruction Improvement Agreement (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department).
