For case # CE-09-02534, there is an outstanding lien in the amount of $1,050.00 for 21 <br />days ofnon-compliance. For case #CE-09-02535, there is an outstanding lien in the amount of $1,600.00 for 32 <br />days ofnon-compliance. For case #CE-09-02537, there is an outstanding lien in the amount of $1,600.00 for 32 <br />days ofnon-compliance. <br />James Jack,. 401 Village View Ln, Longwood, FL 32779 advised he does not live at the property, his step-brother <br />does. Mr. Jack stated his step-brother was homeless and he bought it to keep him out of the woods. Mr. Jack stated <br />when the first notice was received he was not aware of the infraction, once he became aware he spoke with Luis. <br />Mr. Jack did not have the money to do what needed to be done, and he didn't know what the rules were. <br />David Henson made a motion that the Board recommend to the City Commission that the lien will be <br />reduced in CEB Case #'s CE-09-02534, 09-02535, and 09-2537 from $4,250.00 to $1,050.00, to be paid within <br />60 days from the date of the commission's order, or the fine reverts to the original fine amount. The reason <br />for the reduction is a lack of communication, the severity of the fine/violation, financial hardship of the <br />owner, and clean record since the violation. <br />Mr. Henson amended the motion, to be paid within 90 days rather than 60 days. <br />Kathleen A. Hale seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />
