WHEREAS, the location criteria within Policy FLU 1.10 of the Future Land Use Element <br />now conflicts with the roadway designation criteria within Policy FLU 1.10; and <br />WHEREAS the Local Planning Agency of the City of Casselberry held a duly noticed <br />public hearing on the proposed Comprehensive Plan map amendments after due public notice <br />on February 24, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry City Commission held a public hearing on these <br />Comprehensive Plan map amendments after due public notice on March 22, 2010, and <br />considered the advice and findings of the Local Planning Agency, and upon thorough and <br />complete consideration and deliberation, approved the proposed large scale Future Land Use <br />Map amendments for transmittal to the Department of Community Affairs; and <br />WHEREAS the City of Casselberry transmitted the proposed amendments on March 31, <br />2010 to the Department of Community Affairs pursuant to Section 163.3184 and Rule 9J-11, <br />Florida Administrative Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry received from the Florida Department of Community <br />Affairs an "Objections, Recommendations, and Comments Report" on June 1, 2010, reflecting <br />the Department's review of the proposed amendments; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry City Commission held a second public hearing after <br />due public notice on June 28, 2010 at which it reviewed the written comments submitted by the <br />Department of Community Affairs in the Objections, Recommendations, and Comments Report; <br />reviewed all other written and oral comments submitted by members of the public, other local <br />governments and reviewing agencies; and reviewed the recommendations of the City of <br />Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan map amendments adopted by this Ordinance <br />comply with the requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land <br />Development Regulation Act and the amendments are in the best interest of the public health, <br />Ordinance 10-1321 <br />North Winter Park Dr. Future Land Use Map & text Amendments <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
