RESOLUTION 10-2142 <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF WINTER <br />PARK FOR FIRE AND RESCUE VEHICLE INSPECTION, PREVENTATIVE <br />MAINTENANCE, MAINTENANCE, AND REPAIRS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry makes it a priority to ensure that all fire vehicles are <br />properly maintained and any necessary repairs are made in a timely manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry currently utilizes commercial vendors for all large <br />fire and rescue vehicle inspection, preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repairs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has found the current commercial vendors were <br />unable to perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry consulted with the City of Winter Park and has <br />determined that Winter Park's current operations and staffing levels allows for the adequate <br />provision of all of Casselbeny's large fire and rescue vehicle inspections, preventative <br />maintenance, maintenance, and repairs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry seeks to enter into an interlocal agreement with the <br />City of Winter Park for a term of three years for all large fire and rescue vehicle inspections, <br />preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repairs at a labor rate of $65.00 per hour plus parts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the <br />interlocal agreement between the City of Casselberry and the City of Winter Park for fire and <br />rescue vehicle inspection, preventative maintenance, maintenance, and repairs, and authorizes the <br />Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawfiil, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV.
