CASSI;LB);RRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 12, 2010 -Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 13 <br />DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1326 provides for an amendment <br />to the Fuhu•e Land Use Map (FLUM) for a portion of Parcel ID #07-21-30-514-0000-0070 located near <br />Cypress Way, changing the classification fi•om Medium Density Residential to Public Service. The property <br />owner is requesting the amendment for the 9.428 acre parcel adjacent to the Evergreen Cemetery. The <br />Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Ordinance 10-1326 at its March 10, 2010 <br />meeting. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of <br />Ordinance 10-1326 on first reading. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve Ordinance 10-1326 on first reading, <br />as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 4 - 0. <br />Staff noted a scrivener's error has been detected in the legal description for the subject property and will be <br />cort•ected at the second reading of Ordinance 10-1326. <br />B. First Reading of Ordinance 10-1327 -Small Scale Future Land Use Mai <br />Amendment, Seminola Boulevard and North Triplet Lake Drive (LPA 09-13~ <br />The City Clerlc read Ordinance 10-1327 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP, ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION OF COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THE PARCELS AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF <br />THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1327 provides for an amendment <br />to the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) for properties located or1 Seminola Boulevard (Parcel ID #09-21-30-507- <br />0000-0230) and North Triplet Lake Drive (Parcel ID#09-21-30-507-OC00-0140), changing the classification <br />from Low and Medium Density Residential to Commercial The property owner is requesting the amendment <br />for the two vacant parcels totaling 0.61 acres at the southwest corner of Seminole Boulevard and North Triplet <br />Drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission reconnnended approval of Ordinance 10-1327 at its March 10, <br />2010 meeting. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />
