Mr. Trueba seconded the motion. <br /> <br />motion <br /> <br />unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Sixth Item of Business: Architectural re-approval of the Wal-Mart building. <br /> <br />Mr. Senzee reviewed staffs memo dated June 9, 2009 (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br /> <br />Department), Mr. Lee Mullon, 201 South Bumby Avenue, Orlando, Florida came forward. Mr. <br /> <br />distributed <br /> <br />revised rendering which correctly identified the location of the loading zone, an accurate rendering of <br /> <br /> <br />shop area and the color change (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. <br /> <br />stated the <br /> <br />applicant has recently requested changing the pale aqua color to a more neutral color <br /> <br />was originally used in <br /> <br />Casselberry Exchange site. Mr. Senzee explained that very little of that color actualiy remains on the <br /> <br />said that staff has no objections to changing the aqua color; however, the brown gives a very drab appearance. Mr. <br /> <br />Senzee requested staff be allowed to work with the applicant to reach a more suitable alternative to the proposed <br /> <br />brown. <br /> <br />Mr. Senzee said staff recommends approval of the facade revisions for the Wal-Mart <br /> <br /> <br />within <br /> <br />Casselberry Exchange on Highway 17-92 in Casselberry's Community Redevelopment District (CRD) based on the <br /> <br />revised renderings provided at the CRA meeting, the proposed materials and colors provided by the <br /> <br />renderings and color chart, and staff recommendations provided in the CRA approval letter dated May <br /> <br />2007 and <br /> <br />the staff memo dated June 9, 2009. <br /> <br />Mr. McGregor made a motion to approve the revisions. Mr. Daigle seconded the motion. The motion <br /> <br />passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Seventh Item of Business: Public art, banners, and entry feature branding (Concord Lake park, boardwalk <br />area, and CRA entry features) <br /> <br />Mr. Paradise said the branding of the downtown area and the sign identification that was funded by the <br /> <br />at the north and south entrances to the Community Redevelopment District (CRD) needs to be identified as one <br /> <br />identifying theme. Mr. Paradise said many CRA Board members have expressed a need and desire to improve the <br /> <br />appearance of our entry features. He said there is also a need to identify entry locations to the new Concord Lake <br /> <br />Park area. Mr. Paradise said the Administrative Services Department produced an identifying banner for the <br />
